Debra Julius
Debra opened the doors of Julius Law Offices in 1997. Debra primarily represents clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, separation, child custody, paternity, spousal maintenance and child support issues.
Debra’s experience in these areas allows her to advise her clients at every step of the way, ensuring that client needs and goals are heard and that their rights are protected. She regularly appears in court on behalf of her clients, and has argued in front of both the Minnesota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Other professionals regularly seek Debra’s expertise in family law. She has served as a Rule 114 mediator, a child custody evaluator and a parenting consultant and expediter. She has also testified as a custody and parenting time evaluator in Dakota and Scott Counties. Additionally, Debra served as a Guardian ad Litem, and is a former member of the Hennepin County and Dakota County Guardian ad Litem panels.
Debra is also skilled in the areas of Civil Commitments and Criminal Defense. She served on the Scott County Commitment Defense Attorney Panel for 10 years, has defended misdemeanor and felony charges, and has represented debtors in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 petitions.
